Tom Phillips

I have been fascinated, somewhat borderline obsessed, with Tom Phillips' masterpiece "A Humument." I love the uniquness of each individual page, the use of collage, the use of watercolor, and my favorite, gouache. He even uses a keyboard to re-type over the print! In using a 'cut-up' technique similar to that of Erasure, Phillips has created a beautiful piece of Book Art.
I could go on and on about this, and maybe I will at some other point. For now I just want to watch a slideshow of his work via his "A Humument" website.
